January 28, 2020, Tampa, FL -- Out of Home (OOH) advertising startup, Nickelytics has been selected to participate in Techstars’ Smart Mobility Accelerator mentorship-driven program, announced by Techstars on January 27, 2020.
The Techstars Smart Mobility Accelerator is focused on transformative smart mobility technologies with a concentration on smart infrastructure and smart cities. The program is supported by partners Compagnia Di San Paolo, Fondazione CRT and the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center and hosted at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni (OGR) in Turin. Techstars was looking for 10 new exceptional teams to join their program to boost their business and take them to the next level—and Nickeltyics was one of the fortunate companies selected to participate! Beginning January 27, 2020, Nickeltyics will take part in its 13-week mentorship-driven accelerator program.
Created as a pivot from the internal ad platform that supported The Nickel Ride, Nickelytics’ OOH advertising combines the power of traditional advertising and digital retargeting to supplement the gig economy driver’s income. Their unique model guarantees success for both the advertisers and drivers. While some traditional advertising successes such as digital and television continue to plummet, OOH has consecutively grown over the past ten years.
By utilizing a moving billboard via gig economy vehicles, companies are able to create impactful storytelling using Nickelytics 100% customizable vehicle wraps to attain instant brand exposure. With the surge in gig economy driving with companies like Uber, Lyft, and others, the client’s content is always on! https://www.nickelytics.com/
Nickelytics has had the opportunity to work with some fantastic companies, such as Penny Hoarder, SocialSEO, and Synapse Summit. “We are humbled for this opportunity to be supported through the Techstars network and having the chance to continue to build solutions that help businesses increase their brand awareness and grow their market share,” said Judah Longgrear, CEO of Nickelytics.
The beginning of 2020 will also give Nickelytics the opportunity to demonstrate their product at Synapse Florida's demo day in February .

About Nickelytics’ Founders:
Before becoming the сo-founder and CEO of Nickelytics, Judah Longgrear was the founder and CEO of The Nickel Ride (TNR). TNR was eco-friendly on-demand gig economy paid for by advertisers, which had grown to five cities of operation, 60 advertisers, and provided over 100K free rides to South West Florida. Previous to his most recent entrepreneurship endeavors, Judah enjoyed significant success in the corporate world as a business development executive setting strategy, leading diverse cross-functional teams, creative problem-solving, and building partnerships at companies like Salesforce, Netapp and Gartner.
Sven Hermann is the CTO of Nickelytics. While working for Siemens Corporate Technology (formerly Siemens Corporate Research) in Princeton NJ, Sven was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. While writing patents, publishing papers, and working on cutting edge technologies was an incredible experience for Sven with Siemens, he decided to quit his job in 2017 and start his own company. While growing the local startup community and running his software development and consulting firm Hatch It, he also built a disaster relief platform named Supply Samaritan to relieve the pain in his community after Hurricane Irma.
