Former Google and Waze Head of Data, Liad Itzhak, joins Nickelytics Board of Advisors

Leading Mobility and Data expert, Liad Itzhak has been appointed to the board of advisors at Nickelytics, a Techstars backed company innovating out-of-home advertising.

Liad Itzhak brings more than 15 years of seasoned tech mobility leadership and a proven track record of leading and building major systems at tech giants Google and Waze. Liad was previously the Senior Vice President of Mobility at location data global platform HERE Technologies and CTO at mobility platform Karhoo. Liad will advise Nickelytics on mobility and data strategies, market opportunities, and help support the leadership team with expert advice on their go-to-market plan.

Liad founded and led data, maps and quality at both Waze and Google turning Waze into a mapping business leader and growing a 100 million user company which was later acquired by Google for $1.1 billion dollars.

This new appointment comes on the heels of the company’s Co-founder & CTO hire of former Silicon Valley veteran, Shama Keskar and amid a capital raise to evolve the company’s platform and create a more scalable marketplace. The Nickelytics team has secured more than $310,000 in investments so far through an equity crowdfunding investment campaign on Republic.co, which runs through May 1, 2021.
